The days goes on and on
weary & tired
my heart filled with long sighs.
Today & tomorrow
I'll wake up once again
and live through yet another day.

Indistinguishable
mornings & nights
All I see are invariable sights.
Wakefulness & sleepiness
become an incomprehensible haze
how long will I continue to be this daze?

It changes overtime
vague hopes & bitter laughs
But no matter how much time passes
broken heart & clear scars
stays unchanged



So is this what it comes down to?
can you hear my cold cries?
I've beared it for too long
Held them back so endlessly

Even when darkness overtakes me on this long journey
Can you hold my hand & walk with me?



For one beam of light
I wished & prayed
May it shine brightly through this dark window
And if I didn't stop
hoping & believing
I presumed that someday it would come true.



So is this what it comes down to?

Why isn't anyone answering me?
Why do you keep hiding wordlessly?

or tell me in loud screams

Were you happy for the day?
Or were you afraid and waited for it to end?
Was it lonely going through it?
Or did you have some support to help you live?

Did you look for me
when you needed comfort?
Or was my presence
still an unknown entity

Say, Did you find solace
In someone's company?
Or are you still searching
for what gives you peace?



Tell me your dreams
Tell them to me
Tell me in soothing whispers
Or tell me in chilling screams

Were you pleased with the vision?
Or were you scared breathlessly?
Was I there by your side in the reverie?
Or did you wander off alone aimlessly?

Did you find the words
to convey your tale?
Or is it still a jumble of letters
With no meaning

Say, did you find the answers
You were looking for?
Or are you still clueless about
What you want to say to me?



Tell me a love story
Tell it to me
Tell me in hushed whispers
Or tell me in whaling screams

Let me write it in such a verse
That resonates within infinity
A story retold through the universe 
for eternity

Once when the princess was wandering the woods
she heard about the one blessed with eyes
That sees nothing but the truth
All you need to do is gift him
a thing that's precious to you
and he'll help you find
whatever your heart desires

So she journeyed over the hills & mountains
searched the lands & ocean deep
but never ever did she come across
Even the smallest trace of him

Worn & weak with hopes diminishing
about to give up on her solemn dream
one day she found him standing tall & strong
those sparkling eyes staring intently
Saying, I was waiting here for you eternally

She said, "They mock me & spread lies
no one heeds my screams & cries
I'm scared of each day
and the terror that it brings

Say, can you peel off these layers
the world has dressed me in?
Rescue the soul trapped within?
And if you can see my honesty
then you can have my heart & loyalty"

To which he smiled & replied,
“Oh dear one who dislikes
the boundaries of reality,
venture the realm of dreams,
create your world as you see fit
explore the talent you are gifted with
for you are an illusionist

And when you feel helpless,
too tired to carry on
Take my hand
for I’ll help you to move on
I'll stay by your side
and I promise
You'll never ever again feel alone.”

In the city of lights
Under twinkling stars
And glowing signs
Keep walking.

Where your secret lies
Close to billion lives
Dreading transfusion
Keep walking.

Where you plan to go now?
Dragging those lonely feet,
Wading through space
Facing infinity.
Do you feel yourself loosing?
Even when you have million things
Worth choosing.

It’s a myth;
To be content with what you have,
For your desires are never satisfied.
And when you reach, you realize
This is not the end you were seeking
So what have you done with this life?
But just chase false dreams
And strive so long for nothing

Now is here, why don’t you feel it?
Life is clear, why don’t you see it?
This is the time, own it
A moment to rejoice, live it

Share your love & be loved
We are in this together
Side by side
Let’s face this reality

And leave our tomorrows
to the sun and stars
For they will make it come
No matter where we are

The heart hums something about the ineffable. It’s trying to give you a glimpse into the enigma. You can understand it, yet you can never understand it completely. It is elusive, it escapes. It is within reach, but it is not within grasp. You are always coming closer and closer to it, but you may never arrive.
