For you to get better
Waiting for you to open your eyes
Hoping for good days together
When you’ll wish your pain goodbye

So don’t drift to an unknown place
Lost within the chilling shade
Look up and meet my gaze
Come to me if you wanna hide

Hey, you don’t have to tell me why
You don’t have to tell me lies
Don’t act strong for my eyes
Leave all the madness behind



And as the day pass into night
Come…. come back home
When the darkness clouds your mind
Come…. come back home

When you need an escape
Safe within my embrace
I’ll get you out of harm’s way

Sands of time slips away
From these hands without a trace
24 years passed me by
Still I’m here, everything’s the same

Stop! Come back
Don’t leave me here
I’m lost, alone
Without a plan

Spin back!
Bend the time
I need another chance
To live my life


Waves crashed, oceans rised
All my sand castles kept collapsing
as you ticked your hands
Days sped by, while I stood still
dazed within your mellow chime

Now what’s left of me
Is not who I thought I would be
And in the wait I’ve come to realize
There’s no stopping to the flow of life

So, Stop! Come back
Don’t leave me here

Indifference was the word
I lived my life by
Ignore and being ignored
Never caring to empathize

Life meant – the passing of days,
Rising of sun & the fall of night
& when the lightning strikes
Lie down, don’t fight

So how did you find me?
I was well hidden from all eyes
How did you cross the distance?
I build to keep you away from my life
Why did you choose to be by my side?


They said, put up a smile
In the face of adversity
It’s the only way to live
Even when your heart is breaking
& no matter how empty you feel inside
Try to spread laughter & joy

But time instead proved the theory
Cursed & unlucky, that’s my identity
Hurt & pain was all I could give
To the ones who loved me
The countless attempts to rectify
Still made me end up on the losing side


So, why do you come to me?
For I have nothing to share
Why do you stand by me?
Show selfless love & care

Why do you risk your happiness?
In my world of darkness
Why do you wish to be part of my life?
Why do you choose to be by my side?
