Sands of time slips away
From these hands without a trace
24 years passed me by
Still I’m here, everything’s the same

Stop! Come back
Don’t leave me here

Without a plan

Waves crashed, oceans rised
All my sand castles kept collapsing

Indifference was the word
I lived my life by
Ignore and being ignored
Never caring to empathize

Life meant – the passing of days,
Rising of sun & the fall of night
& when the lightning strikes
Lie down, don’t fight

So how did you find me?
I was well hidden from all eyes
How did you cross the distance?
I build to keep you away from my life
Why did you choose to be by my side?


They said, put up a smile
In the face of adversity
It’s the only way to live
Even when your heart is breaking
& no matter how empty you feel inside
Try to spread laughter & joy

But time instead proved the theory
Cursed & unlucky, that’s my identity
Hurt & pain was all I could give
To the ones who loved me
The countless attempts to rectify
Still made me end up on the losing side


So, why do you come to me?
For I have nothing to share
Why do you stand by me?
Show selfless love & care

Why do you risk your happiness?
In my world of darkness
Why do you wish to be part of my life?

Dead of the night, shines the stars
That’s when I hear my whispering heart.

Stories to tell, tales to spin
Where the brave knight searches for the fairest maiden to win
Twisted roads to take, where the shadows dwell
Vanquish the enemy, Fight for your love

It’s the fantasies realm, where reality never calls
I love to hear my whispering heart.

All I need is a start
I’ll weave the story well, Take it to its end
A life happily lived, till death do us apart

So take me to sleep, Oh! King of dreams
Let me cherish the memories of sweet streams,
The scented breeze & the green trees
Where my love waits for me

So as the day ends & the darkness falls
In the lucid night & the shine of stars
